AMANDA AINSCOUGH (voice)

Amanda Ainscough grew up in a musical household, attributing her first musical experiences to her mother. Amanda was involved in sports in middle school, and after an injury put her career on hold, she joined the choir. First inspired by the songs of Ella Fitzgerald, Amanda started singing jazz in high school. While she studied voice and music education at Messiah College, Amanda continued to hone her craft while singing jazz gigs outside of school. Currently an elementary music teacher in the Cumberland Valley School District, Amanda still makes it a priority to sing when she finds the opportunity. She currently headlines the band “Back to Back” which performs regularly for ballroom dance clubs. Amanda loves singing and teaching all styles of music and believes in all children being musical from a young age. Mrs. Ainscough lives in Mechanicsburg with her husband and her dog.
