Summer Jazz Camp - Jam On!!

Jazz camp is a week-long fun event where students learn to play jazz and express their creativity through improvisation. There is one-on-one learning, large group and smaller combo participation. Most of their time is spent actually playing music. They learn a number of songs and present their concert on Friday at 11:30 followed by a pizza party. It is a blast! Last year, some of the songs presented by our students were: Tenor Madness, Recordame, and Kansas City. Each student receives a membership to the Central Pennsylvania Friends of Jazz where they will receive discounts to the monthly concert series of professional jazz groups as well as their spring jazz festival and summer picnic. Check out pictures of last year's jazz camp! It was such a blast!!
